@avniy1312 - Yep. There was a buyout. Wattpad is now owned by the South Korean equivalent of Yahoo. Naver is a conglomerate. Wattpad does not let me embed hyperlinks to Wikipedia, but if I put in a broken link, you can copy and paste and remove the extra spaces to get to the Wikipedia page. Naver is huge. We're just assets to be datamined now. (Again: Naver is a Yahoo alternative. Data is what they deal in) htt ps: // en.wiki pedia .org /wiki/ Naver
@SeraDrake Oh, I didn't know that Naver bought Wattpad in 2021. I also started reading in 2018, and back then Wattpad was at its peak. It was so fun because we had that private message feature, but now, as well as the content trends, have made it a bit boring.

I want all my writer friends to be aware of the scams happening here. Some writers' books have been illegally published on Google Books. I also recently saw that some Wattys and ONC books appeared on Google Books.
You should check if your book is on Google Books without your permission. Also, I've heard that some users are receiving messages on their message boards claiming their books can be deleted if they don't go through a verification process. So, don't click on any links if you see such messages on your message board.
I know how much effort we put into our books. So don't let them ruin it and report them if you find out your books on Google Books.

Happy Pride Month! I just realized that.
How is everyone doing?
I was sitting with my cold coffee, searching for new ideas for my book since I’m close to finishing it (though there's still a lot left to do).
Looking for ideas for your book can be both fun and challenging. So, I’ve been checking out some books for inspiration as well.
And by the way, I also bought some books, and the first one I plan to read is... The Family Upstairs by Lisa Jewell. I’m pretty excited about it. Has anyone here read this book before?
@avniy1312 I can totally understand those annoying never-ending tests. I just recently escaped from them. I hope your eyesight get better.
@avniy1312 doing alright, just can't seem to take a break from these never ending exams :( I want to read all the stories in my tbr list so bad, but first because of these exams and secondly, my eyesight just keeps getting worse, how are you doing btw? And I've not read the story, but I noted it down haha, will check it out someday XD

I finally came back here, and as I was about to write new chapters for my book, I saw that "Rewriting the Villain's Fate" has crossed 40k reads!!!!
I can't believe that we finally reached 40k reads ˃ʍ˂
And also, I want to confess something to you guys. Well, you might wonder why I haven't been updating my book. Actually, a lot of things are going on in my life, and I'm going through some emotionally draining events that sometimes leave me feeling blank. Sometimes I just can't bring myself to write, even when I really want to, because of what's been happening in my life lately. But don't worry, I am fine, and I made a promise to myself when I started writing my book that I would finish it and not leave it unfinished.
So, I just ask you guys to stick with my book and keep supporting it like this.
