Why is it that people are popular because they have a certain amount of money or a special type of cell phone? Why did Taylor Swift seem awesome over the summer but now, at my school at least, she's old news? I asked approximately fifty people if they had heard of Dolly Parton or Freddie Mercury and only three people said yes to Parton and only seven said yes to Mercury. I believe that today's generation obsesses over too many small things and not enough big things. Who else would've liked it better if they had grown up in the 1980s?
