          To be witnessing this unfolding before my eyes, I'd daresay I wished every single day of the last few years that it would. Had accepted the path to be difficult, to be convoluted. Had prepared myself to fight tooth and nail to have a chance at being in her life again, for in my eyes, I had become the man who ruined her world. Then, one fine morning, she walked in and embraced me yet again. Wished all my worries away. Made me complete again. I'm just darn outright blessed to have her.

"Some days are just........indescribable. We make big plans for life, we walk roads we never traversed, trying to capture them whole without having set a foot down. We pray to gods and curse them too, and the universe for playing this mixtape of life the way it does........ I was cursed, that whoever came close to me, I'd lose them forever. Today was a whirlwind in visual design, character picturization and plot framing for  both Raine Man and Rebirth. Also, my first day on the journey leading to NYC. Watching a lot of MMA fights, wrestling bouts and the like. A well-rounded day indeed. The new cover for Raine Man has Zaya, the soldier turned innkeeper on it, portrayed to perfection in Gina Carano's appearance.

          Edited and balanced, the new chapter is out. My ass couldn't tolerate a heavy chapter ending for even 24 hours, and who's better at breaking the gloom than the young ones! And now, it's their turn to shine as the stakes get bigger. Also, some of my favorite dynamics: a young girl toying with big men and a young lad getting toyed with by warrior women (laughs). 

It's that thing about planning next moves, that if I dwell too much on it, I don't even feel convinced enough to execute it. Just like the next chapter I was working on today. The irritating desire to have the perfect vision on paper can be such a drag on the mind, sometimes. Reminds me of chess. A move in the heat of the game may feel inconsequential, and many times, it is so. But the fact remains that consequence builds with fresh possibilities. And possibilities arise only when I care less about my vision and just...make a darn decision.

Really pumped up about this part! I was on the verge of taking a break from writing today, when one of the most amazing ideas struck me. And, here it is, in flesh and blood. A simple old wargame that turns real without warning. A character assassination of all the participants, their good and bad and that which lies in between. This chapter unlocks a lot. Let's be our own critic, shall we? Yesterday, as I read one of my own chapters, I was able to gauge the work that had been put in to bring things to life, but it didn't attract me a lot. Is it normal that authors don't enjoy their work sometimes? Even if it is, I will do due diligence. Book 2 of PHS will be written in a different style.
