Hello everyone. I've been receiving some comments regarding some "scenes" in my story being compared with other authors' stories. At first I ignored it even though I'm not comfortable with those comments, but after reading this particular reader's comments earlier saying that some "scenes" in my story were copied from different stories by this particular author (I didn't know who she was referring to), I feel like all my time, effort, and hard work to express my thoughts through writing has been wasted. Therefore, I am writing this letter to clarify everything. Even before I began writing the Tierra Alta Series, the titles of each story, the names of places and characters, the flow of each story, the "scenes," what would happen next, and the endings were all planned out in my head and already listed down in my notes. I didn't intend to have similar scenes or for my work to be compared with anyone else's story. And I also didn't intend to make some of you feel that reading my work made you feel off. I didn't know why some of you felt that way because every scene, every word, and every name came from my head, not from anyone else's. So please stop comparing my work with other authors because, honestly, it makes me lose my interest in writing here. I felt like I should stop writing here and share my work here, and I should just keep my work for myself. As I've stated previously, writing is my getaway from stressful and tiring days, but after reading those remarks, the peace and comfort I had here have been ruined. I'm sorry, but it really offended me. Thank you.
