Aziel Nunez's journey began in an environment rich with empathy, leadership, and patience. As the son of Evangelical missionaries, his childhood was a mosaic of various cultures and spiritual teachings, from Mexico City to Madrid and San Diego to Chicago. This multicultural upbringing laid a strong foundation for his diverse interests and empathetic worldview, shaping him into a person deeply attuned to the nuances of different cultures and beliefs.

His educational path was a reflection of his diverse upbringing. Drawn to his spiritual roots and global perspectives, he pursued a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Religion at Colgate University. This choice of major was a testament to his quest for a deeper understanding of the world's sociopolitical landscapes and religious philosophies. His time at Colgate was marked by an insatiable thirst for knowledge, leading him to further his academic journey in theology and leadership.

He pursued higher education at Yale University, obtaining a Master of Divinity (MDiv). This phase of his education allowed him to delve deeper into theological studies, enriching his understanding of religious doctrines and practices. His academic aspirations continued; he went on to earn a Doctor of Ministry (DMin) in Transformational Leadership from Boston University. This advanced degree equipped him with the skills to lead and inspire change, blending his spiritual insights with practical leadership strategies.

Following his academic pursuits, he transitioned into a pastoral role. He became a guiding force as the Pastor of several Hispanic non-denominational congregations across Massachusetts, New York, and South Carolina. Significant contributions to these areas' spiritual and community life marked his tenure in these roles. His pastoral work was underpinned by a profound belief in the transformative power of education, a principle he carried into his subsequent role.
