♕ i am king ♕

The night is not silent 
          My head is jumbled inside 
          Large church bells 
          And my father yells again.

I'm not good with words,
          The smoke that burns my throat
          And billows through my nose
          Clogs the poetry that I want to sing
          To her.

the failing use of her heart 
          is not the failing use of her heart,
          but rather the loss of beat 
          and the continuation of feeling

i was created 
          
                    to strip lungs 
                    of their breath
                          to destroy pretty little things 
                          and burn them to the ground
                  to bring the world to its knees 
                  and hear my name spoken
                  only in fearful whispers 
          
          
          
          i was made 
          to be a monster.

every pawn is precious
          to the king and to the queen
          for they are those who serve most bravely

i want the wild beast inside him;
          i want him to bathe in the ecstasy of
          the cannibal consumption of my heart
          

thank you for being amazing 

he is hades
          and they are zeus
          and he is misjudged

never trust a survivor 
          until you find out 
          what they did to survive

at times i imagine you are atlas,
          crushed between the weight of the
          heaven you were cursed to hold.
