            " i .. i don't know, been looking for them. " the little girl said, staying up in the tree as she looked down at the other. " who are you?"

scarlett laughed, watching her with a small smile. “you like this song?” she asked, trying to speak over the music. “let me get what we need to make the cookies!” she added, quickly getting the ingredients and the bowls, as well as whatever else they’d need.

            the girl though for a moment before yelling straight at the alexa.  " hey alexa!! play mount religious— wait— no mount rageous!! " she yelled more until the alexa repeated this and began to play the song and chara excitedly rocked with happy balled fists on the counter. 

“haha, o’course we can. what trolls song d’you wanna play first?” she smiled. “but be careful! don’t fall!” she called after her, quickly following.

“well, some people prefer it, darlin’. sometimes they can’t drink regular milk, and coconut milk will suffice — sometimes, they just like it better.” she smiled warmly. at the question, she blinked. “hm? course you can. did ya not know?” she laughed softly.

            chara frowned as she listened , fidgeting with her fingers. " it's dumb and doesn't make since , of course im worked up. " she whined before she quietly listened to the womans explanation,  her mouth opening agape in surprise as she stayed quiet for a few minutes before gasping. " you can shave a coconut?!"

she nearly laughed, shaking her head. “is that what’s got you so worked up, sweetheart? coconut milk is a thing ‘cause they usually add a bit of coconut shavings into the milk,” she explained. “don’t be stressed about it, really.”

            the girl was frozen at the sight , eyes lidded and soft as tears streamed down her face after a few moments,  she slowly moved off of the bricks as her baby doll shoes hit the grass with a quiet thud. 
            
            the moment the hand touched it head she bursted into sniffles and soft, pitiful hiccups. " can we go home?"

@babyxbloodz-     the prince frowned,   feeling horrible for the young girl who had found her family moved on from her.   it wasn’t fair that they had given up so easily on her disappearance,   and they seemed to care—less about her now.  he gently patted her head,   trying to offer some sort of comfort. 
            
            “i am terribly sorry,   mia cara.   do you want me to knock on the door..?”

            " it is it is !! thats my tree — my swing!! " she ran around in the back before her little ears caught wind of laughing. she lit up and noticed a bright window. " thats my mama and papa!!" she beamed as those little legs ran as fast as they could to the window, using a few bricks to get taller before looking in.. what she saw made her wish she didn't.
            
            she saw her dad in the ground with a newborn girl on his chest , holding her and laughing while the mother was drinking wine and watching. chara slowly scanned inside the house, everything was gone, her pictures , her little crafts she'd bring home from school..all of it was gone. as if she didn't exist, as if she had been forgotten.

            the little vampire stretched against his chest, yawning as she curled back up once more. when she was laid down, she stretched again and helf her doll close , burying under the blankets.

             he looked up from his book and he smiled before he closed it, setting it aside before he picked her up and laid her down on her cot, bringing the doll her head had been resting on with him. he placed the doll in her arms and he tucked her in.

            chara continued this for her thirty minutes and she was dozed off , head using her dolls as a pillow, her eyes closed and her chest rising and falling. her tiny body asleep on that big carpet.
