Well, I'm finally on the writing train again with a somewhat timely story called "Four Sides of the Net", encapsulating the fight to succeed Alyssa Naeher as the USWNT's starting goalkeeper.

Update from life. I am currently in hospital following another foot surgery (hopefully the last one), with a move to a rehab facility/nursing home by the weekend I'm guessing. Because of that, I haven't been in the right headspace to get the second chapter of "Wrong Place, Wrong Time?" written. Should begin adding to it once I'm resettled.
@MsNightOwl0327 Thought it would be, but it won't be. Additional tendon work, but relatively minor and meant to get the foot back to 90 degrees (currently leans to the outside). This is the part of the reconstruction he held off of doing last week due to potential infection existent in the bone.
I am done with supporting women's sports until the athletes prove themselves to be competent human beings and get their heads out of their you-know-whats regarding those outside the business.
So I'm thinking of a new book where a member of the USWNT ends up taking on an online side gig (hope I don't have to spell out for you what I mean) because the pay structure of the Fed and league doesn't allow her to make enough to support herself and those who rely on her. First, is this a good idea? Second, if so, which National Teamer would you want to see in this role?
