hello to my moots!!

if you're an indian, pls speak up on this situation and if u're not, i'd appreciate u spreading the word. my homeland, manipur has been wracked by ethnic violence between two communities since 2023. in these 3 years of violence, around 260 ppl were killed, 4786 houses burnt, 60,000 people displaced from their homes yet no proper acknowledgement from the govt of india. we may just be a small state of india which ppl often overlooked but we're part of this country too, our lives, our voices matter as much as the mainlanders. how much more innocent lives do we have to sacrifice for us to be seen by our own country. just three days ago, a five yr old boy with his five month old sister was killed in a bomb attack while they were asleep. both sides are constantly blaming each other, experiencing fear, economic disruptions and loss while the govt continues to remain silent and maintaining temporary 'forced peace', shutting down internet whenever violence erupted, closure of educational institutions ruining the future of children and youth in the state and a constant lack of coverage about the issue by mainstream media outlets of India. THREE YEARS and it's people's lives we are talking about!!! this is no less important than the issues in west asia, if you can speak up abt palestine, sudan, lebanon then i believe you can speak up about this too, speak up for your country, please talk about what's happening here, we need your voices, pls help us restore our peace
