I rarely devour books in large doses, even when they're great, but I've read to chapter 27 of this one after just finding this last night. It's after 6:00 AM and I still haven't slept. I have a terrible headache. And I STILL can't stop reading!!! Your book is ABSOLUTELY EXTRAORDINARY AND EXCEPTIONAL!!!  I am blown away by how brilliant and imaginative it is, plus I love that you've clearly taken time and effort toward spelling, grammar, a good flow, character development, etc.  You are so freaking talented and thank you for sharing your story here! I look forward to reading the rest after I get a bit of sleep lol.

Added chapter 48.  Just curious, who do you think Aliana will end up with?
          
          1) Philip - he’s her mate.  They’ll work it out.
          2) Sawyer - he’s been a faithful friend 
          3) Alaric - they could make powerful Mage babies and ensure a new generation of Hunters
          4) Other - I think ____will be the one who finally wins her heart.
          5) No one.  There is no one for Her after Liam.

Alex had suggested that they get a pet to ease things a little for Aliana.  Initially I had envisioned a pet who would become jealous of Aliana and the two Vampires who obsess over her and compete for her.  This would cause some friction and end in the pet trying to kill Aliana.  
          
          I decided against it.  It would keep Aliana in the castle too long in order to develop the plot.  I wanted her with Alaric get into her Hunter training.   Soo...I brought back Lady Francesca instead.  
          
          I'm wondering if any of my readers have an opinion on this...bring in a pet to compete with Aliana for her two Vampires or move the story along and get her into the forest and training with Alaric and Callum?  
          
          I'm still working on how she will react to Kate and Alaric's flirty relationship.   Will they become besties or will Aliana and Kate compete for Alaric's attention? Hmm...I already know the answer to that one.  I know where Aliana's heart ultimately lies (hint:  it's not Liam.  Not anymore, though he continues to hold a special place in her heart). 
          
          Another little tidbit...Aliana has a special relationship with canines as witnessed when she visited her father's farm and the dogs all came to greet her.  She definitely gets a pet "dog" much to the chagrin of all the men in her life. (Sorry, no werewolves...my brain went there too but it would be a bit much to squeeze that into a plot...I love werewolf romances myself, though.  I may write one some day soon, but this is purely vampire/mage/human.  LOL).  Hope you are enjoying the book so far and don't worry, we'll pick up on Philip and Aliana again but it will pick up from Aliana's point of view.  We'll also hear how Alexander is doing and check in on Alaric in upcoming chapters.

I just posted Chapter 39.  Every so often I go into my book and make some edits.  Most are minor.  If there are any major plot changes, I try to post here.  I just posted chapter 39 and then realized I forgot to add the video that inspired Philip's mood when showing Aliana his...their...new digs.
