Honestly devastated. I will always be thankful to Liam and 1D for giving me this community and allowing me an escape through their art and charismatic personalities. This is such a tragic and senseless loss. My heart goes out to all of you and all Liam’s loved ones, especially his mother and his son. Take care of yourselves xx

Hi everyone,

I have been toying with the idea of removing my stories from this site. I love you all and have loved reading your comments and messages through the years.

However, I have been wanting to break up with wattpad for awhile. I don’t believe they care about their writers, despite continuing to make money off of them without offering much in return. They profit off of the ads they run between chapters and don’t offer a dime to the people that wrote those chapters unless they’re part of the paid program that’s behind a paywall for y’all. You would think that after making so much money on published stories and movies/shows that they would put this money back into their creators. The programs they do offer have little incentive and a lot of restriction.

Overall, I am disappointed in this site and wish to grow beyond it. I would like to pivot to editing the stories I have completed to get them ready for publishing.

This is not set in stone, but just some frustrations and explanations for why I haven’t posted in a bit and what the future may hold. Feel free to tell me your thoughts.

I love you and hope you’re well.

hi friend, all of your points are extremely true and felt by the general public of we the people that have been on this site for a while, it’s not tue community it used to be and it just keeps getting worse with every update, nowadays you can’t even message the connections you’ve made on the app which is just frustrating and upsetting. i full heartedly understand you and will support your work and you no matter what you decide to do and it’s sad that so many authors are falling to the same because there is just no easy way to have your works read and there’s little to no space for praise from the audience. that being said having your works specifically removed from this app would be such a loss for those of us that love them but at the end of the day it’s what works best for you. hope you’re doing fine and I send a big hug<3

I couldn’t agree more!
It feels like WP is investing all their profits elsewhere and entirely overlooking their content generators. And, frustratingly, they don’t even seem to be working on optimising their platform - e.g. all the infernal glitches, them deleting messaging with no warning, etc.
All that is sadly confounded by WP generally having much lower levels of engagement than even just a couple of years ago… Being on here can feel like an echo chamber for writers and it doesn’t justify the efforts.
Good luck to you - hope you’re able to keep nurturing your incredible talent xx

Hello, I first red ‘Notorious’, then ‘Savior’ and then ‘The Deal’ and each story of yours has its unique awe struck inspiring elements and plots that kept me absolutely hooked and intrigued, your perspectives and character development is amazing, your stories, particularly’Savior’ tackles some sorrowful topics, but it was done wonderfully noting the victim’s resilience and bravery. I enjoy the eloquence of your works and your dictation always kept me entranced at the descriptions and imagery you paved, particularly in ‘the Deal,’ despite the maturity of the content, the echoing themes of spirituality and transcendent love was again quite inspiring and thought provoking. As a reader, I can appreciate the effort and time a writer puts into their craft and I understand the feeling of frustration when the piece of have put much labor and creativity into does not achieve the level of gratitude and due royalties, it could attain. It is also only human to want to be a part of an entity that progresses positively, not regress, or lay stagnant to your authoring development. All the very best it your future works and decisions. Your stories have brought much knowledge and joy to at least one reader and I thank you for the insight your bravery in publishing here has brought.

Hi.
I finished reading The Deal. At first, I thought it'd only revolve around their 'deal' but the story progressed wonderfully. I loved your book. In the starting chapters, all her superstitions had me laughing then they started sounding kinda monotonous but I'm glad I kept reading. Nova's character inspired me. Thank you for writing this book ❤️

P.S. I'm glad I'm reading it after it's finished otherwise 6 years!! Man, I'd have been pulling my hair out for the updates!!
Best of luck. Hope to read more of your works.

I just finished the last 2 chapters of The Deal. I never gave up on my hopes that you would finish it. You did not disappoint and it is beautifully written and my favorite book of yours. I have a reading list that’s named “Too Good To Archive”. That’s where The Deal belongs. Thank you for sharing with us. I can’t wait to read you next endeavor.
