1) hermione was the ONLY one to even try to console neville and check on him after the situation with mad eye/barty jr.
2) dumbledore clearly states that snape is a good guy, and turned against the dark lord for him. but this plot point ( at least movie wise ) has been thrown out and ignored for the rest of the series. harry just ignored this HUGE piece of exposition.

/ okay, but when you think about it, we only see things from harry's perspective in the books, so because of this everyone has a very skewed perception of everything. not all slytherins are bad, I assume. not all hufflepuffs are weak, and not all ravenclaws are workaholics. just the ones that he encountered might have been. we should all take that into consideration.
