you know how on long road trips at night you can barely see actual cars on the freeway you just see the lights from the car and do you ever stop to wonder what their life is like and what problems they have and what makes them happy and suddenly realize you'll probably never know, because their lives may never intersect with yours directly, or at all. and you realize how petty some stupid argument is or question how some people think only of themselves when there's an entire world around them and
doesn't that make your heart race to think about?
mine does
it's qute a scary thing to think about
i think that's why people like antiques, you don't know where it's been and you don't know it's story, you just know it somehow ended up there, right in front of you

so a few weeks ago i was on a long car drive out of town at night, and i was just mentally ranting so when i stopped and went on my phone, i went into rant mode, and wrote it all down in my notes and sent it to a few friends, and they all seemed kind of confused i guess?
so yeah, that was the product of my life questionings while on a car ride that i couldn't sleep during.
