i recently got obsessed with harry potter after avoiding it for so long because i didn’t want to fall down the rabbit hole. but when i finally did… yeah, i was GONE. and i’m telling u, this book was amazing. i’ve read a lot of fanfics before, but ur book “Yours, Fred.” is definitely one of my favorites—if not my favorite.
first, i really loved how u slowly built fred and y/n’s relationship. it wasn’t rushed or like suddenly they’re together. the character development, the tension when they didn’t even realize they were in love yet, the angst, the slow burn, it was all so well done. i also loved how u followed the books and movies while still adding ur own touches that made the story feel fresh and personal. especially the chapters near the end during the deathly hallows part—i loved how u changed some details but still kept the main plot of the original story.
second, the relationship between fred and y/n was genuinely healthy, which i appreciated so much. yes, there was confusion, angst, and problems, but the communication between them made their relationship feel real and mature. their love was written beautifully, and u really showed how love can be both supportive and strong. i also loved how fred was protective of y/n while still letting her be independent. even though y/n is meant to represent the readers, she still felt like her own person—someone we could actually relate to and see ourselves in.

third, the characters were amazing. even if i, as the reader, didn’t really know characters like lee, alice, bea, angie, or even tonks that well, the way u wrote them made me understand who they were and feel connected to them. u didn’t just include them for the sake of it—you gave them personality and depth. i really admired how y/n’s relationships with others were written, even though this is a fred x reader story. u can clearly see how deep her connections are—how caring she is with the trio, how close she is with lee, george, bea, alice, and angie, and how naturally she gets along with the order, especially remus, tonks, and sirius. and the whole cedric arc? wow. their platonic dynamic was so well-written and emotionally impactful, it genuinely stayed with me.
lastly, ur writing itself deserves a round of applause. even though the story was mostly sfw, u handled the more mature moments really well. u didn’t need to be overly detailed to make those scenes impactful—u knew exactly how to set the mood and keep readers invested. ur choice of words, descriptions, and narration made everything so vivid and engaging.
overall, thank u so much for sharing such an amazing story with us. reading it was such a great experience and something i’ll definitely remember. i’m really excited to start reading the other hp ff u wrote :)
