I just read the first vampire diaries book and I’m so annoyed that the show changed so much. If it was like the book I would actually like Elena, Caroline is so bitchy in it and Elena is a cold hearted bitch in a way that would have been nice to see, it’s like the personalities of Elena and Katherine were switched, in the first book at least. So I’m just annoyed that if the show was like the books my 14 year old self would have actually liked it better but it isn’t.
