Hi All-
I hope you enjoy the latest chapter of "In My Arms: A Salex Story"! Sorry for the long gap of time between the chapters, my life has been hectic lately and every time I find the inspiration to write more, I end up falling into a deep slumber with the Wattpad.com tab still open on my laptop. My apologies! On a lighter note, I have a question for my dedicated followers, friends, and fans: Do you like where the story is going? Would you like to see more romance, mystery, suspense, spiciness, etc? And are there any other musicians you would specifically like to see featured in the fic? I added Carrie Brownstein of Sleater-Kinney (1990s punk rocker queens, if you haven't listened to them you NEED to check them out.) and Portlandia (a very funny show, but most entertaining if you are heavily attracted to one of the two lead actors.) in as our detective, and possibly misunderstood antagonist who will end up redeeming herself...? @baileyneedsboots69 I completely understand the gaps between publishing, as I am a victim to it myself… oh, how I wish to be one of the artificial intelligence robots my son has open on his laptop that writes his university essays for him. Anyways, all of your uploads are the equivalent to opening a gift on Christmas day. I’m loving the direction of your story so far! Truly feels like a party mix full of different genres and themes, and it’s been touching to watch it evolve from the day you published the first chapter. Also exciting to see a new character, Carrie seems like she’s going to get to the bottom of things… and, personally, I love a good enemies to friends dynamic. I don’t have anything to suggest as your story is already incredible, but more drama is always fun to see. Hope to catch up with you soon.

I am happy to see you posting again, I hope your life hasn’t been TOO hectic, haha! I’ve been continuing to take breaks with writing my work and find this announcement very relatable.
I personally LOVE how the story is going so far, I truly cant wait to read more. I think the characters at the moment are perfect and your writing is masterful. Love to see this!
