hello! it's been quite a while, hasn't it? well if you're surprised to hear from me, you should be. I haven't been on wattpad in over 5 months and it hasn't struck me once to update or write anymore for my riker fanfiction. I'm sorry to say that I've deleted the story and all copies of it. It's nothing personal, it's just I have other priorities I have to manage that are too time consuming. I would just like to thank all my readers who supported me throughout the journey and liked and commented, it helped me immensely. now, I will continue to be on wattpad but only reading others' novels, not writing my own. thank you all!

too much has been going on and maybe nobody will see this but I think I will not be continuing my story as of today. I'm sorry for the let down. Maybe during the summer when school is out I will pick it back up again. As for now, farewell. I love you all so much and appreciate the comments and votes I've received this past year.

Well, it's been 2 weeks and I was going to update today but I've run into difficulties.
          First, as I was writing this chapter I forgot about the Lynch's ages and now it seems rather dumb. 
          Second, I'm still trying to pan out what "major" thing is going to occur in this chapter.
          So bare with me and give me another week, I've been awfully busy.
