Hello everyone :)
There’s some thoughts I want to share with you guys. If you’ve been here for the couple years I’ve been active, you know that I mainly write 18+ materials. It is a genre of writing where I personally feel more expressive in while writing. With the news that wattpad is changing where smut books are prohibited, it makes me feel somewhat scared to publish my stories anymore.
Even with all the precautions I take like changing my audience age or turning maturity on, it still doesn’t guarantee my book(s) will be able to stay on this site. For example, my BTS smut book that I worked very hard on for 3-4 years were taken down along with my very first anime lemon book a couple months ago. That was a huge disappointment for me and everyone that read and supported the book.
I don’t want to go through that kind of disappointment again to be frank. It took me a couple months now to come to this conclusion but I don’t think I will continue being on this app anymore. With the fact I spent my entire adolescent years here definitely makes it hard to leave but I am growing into an adult and naturally, I will become more busy.
