After a short hiatus because I fell down the stairs, the dog ate a Play-doh container and needed an x-ray plus an incident with a tick lodged inside a family member's ear, Chapter 7 has been published.

Chapter 6 is here where the main character defies everyone to go shoot poison arrows at a rogue army coming to tear apart her village. Chapter 7 gets bloody so strap in everyone.

Just published Chapter 5. Has Atta astral-projected herself into the past? Does her mother hear her screams through the folds of space and time to save child-Atta from death? Was that a magical cougar? All building up to a bloody battle in Chapter 6.

OK Chapter 4 is published. It starts getting into one of my favourite parts, a little mind-bender with some time folding in on itself and a lost mother revealed. What? It's all happening!

Chapter 3 is up! It took an unexpected turn and I kind of rushed it because my dog was barking nonstop. However, hints of magic and even more tension are in this chapter. Chapter 4 is a mind-bender, literally. Chapter 5 (or 6?) has that battle scene I promise.

Chapter 2 is now published, I couldn't wait a full week. :)
          
          Magic in the next chapter for sure. 
          
          A battle scene is also coming soon. I read it out loud at a seminar last year and nearly fainted from anxiety but the reviews were pretty good. ;)
