Happy New Year, everyone! I hope this year brings you peace, good health, and stories that stay with you.

I want to sincerely apologize for the slow updates. Lately, I’ve been juggling a lot. Aside from writing fanfic, I’ve also been busy editing manuscripts for another novel. As a published author, I put a lot of pressure on myself because I really want to publish another book this 2026, and honestly, that process hasn’t been easy.

I’m also writing multiple stories offline (which is both a blessing and a struggle ), so updates here may be slow. On top of that, I sometimes experience burnout. Writing is something I deeply love, but balancing creativity with real life can get overwhelming. Taking breaks helps me rest, reset, and come back with better energy and clearer thoughts.

Thank you so much for your patience, understanding, and continued support. I truly appreciate every reader who stays, waits, and believes in my stories. I’ll do my best to update whenever I can.

Here’s to a gentler year and better chapters ahead ✨

Chapter 9 Teaser

Hill packed up his tools, then turned to Johan. “You’ll be taking care of him now,” he said firmly. “Make sure he rests, keeps the wound clean, and doesn’t overdo it. Check on him often. Any changes no matter how small, you let me know.”

Johan nodded, though his eyes stayed glued to North, who was now being tucked into bed by Easter.

The two men stepped out, giving the best friends a moment alone while they moved toward the living room. Hill waited until they were out of earshot before speaking again. His voice lower, more careful.

“Jo… don’t leave him alone, okay? He could use the company.”

The words hit Johan harder than he expected. His throat tightened. He swallowed once. Then quietly, almost abruptly he asked, "He can still draw, right?”

OH NOOOOOOOOOO???? What happened to North???

Hello! I'm back! I'm still recovering but I'll try to get back at writing as soo as possible. So here's a little teaser for Johan's backstory (Chapter 8)

"North?" he asked, trying to sound casual.

"Yeah," Hill answered, smirking. "Apparently some business major's been hanging around his spot and it's pissing him off."

Johan gave a faint, controlled smile. "Sounds like the business major has taste."

"Or zero self-awareness," Hill shot back.

          "Maybe both," Johan muttered.

Tonfah leaned in. "Come on, Jo. Tell us the truth. You're that business major who's bugging North, aren't you? I saw you sneaking around that abandoned building, way off the Business Department radar."

Hill nearly fell out of his chair. "No freaking way! That's you, Jo?"

Johan just smirked, calm as a cat.

"Jo," Arthit said, waving a hand like he was warding off evil spirits, "North's a good guy. If your plan is to add him to your fling collection just stop. Now."

Johan tilted his head. "Wait… you all know North?"

"He's an art prodigy," Tonfah supplied. "Everyone at the university respects him. He's won tons of prestigious awards."

Johan whistled. "So that boy really has a reputation, huh?"

"Yes, so just quit it." Arthit warned, grinning. "You don't stand a chance."

"Yeah," Tonfah added, nudging him. "Not even close."

Johan didn't say anything. He laughed it off, but the truth settled heavy in his chest. He had only wanted to be near North, but somehow he'd become the reason for his absence.
