@KatlynPerry You're so sweet. The inspiration is my absolute heartbreak over the way MJ's life turned out and how easily preventable some of it was. So I just fantasize about someone being in his corner and looking out for him, which is how Carrie was born. 
            
            I've pretty much written all of my head cannons into the story so they're not just in my head anymore, but I do see them bonding over their entirely different childhoods. 
            
            My writing method is absolute hyperfixation. I've barely done anything this past month but write or think about this story. It literally consumes my every waking thought and I write for hoursss every day. Also, I geniunely love the story so I feel like I'm writing it for me, like I also wait for my brain to update with the next chapter lol

@basilandolives ok, few questions about the book! First, what was the inspiration for the plot? Second, do you have any head canons about any of the characters? Personally I like to think that Michael and Carrie like talking about other books and stuff from when they were kids. Also, I was wondering about your writing method! Are you the type of person to just write whenever they feel like it, or stick to a schedule? I do appreciate that you update often and consistently!!
