Mike Bassett is a father, chemical engineer, writer, and lifelong observer of how work, love, and memory intertwine. As Vice President of Manufacturing for an international biopolymer company he's spent decades building plants and teams across the world -- while quietly writing stories that honor the people and places that built him.

Born and raised in Butte, Montana, Mike carries that mining town grit into everything he writes. His fiction often explores family, redemption, and the human search for meaning amid modern chaos. When not writing or traveling for work, Mike can be found with his wife, Jennifer, somewhere between Omaha, Nebraska and Nong Pho,Thailand--talking books, tinkering with ideas, or cheering on their daughters, Haley and Hanna, as they develop material for their own autobiographies.
