   "no,  i've never been,"  she admitted quietly,  looking at their joined hands with a smitten expression etched on her face—  she'd been so scared,  lost and confused and hurt,  and all she needed was this.  her,  jane,  and the comforting touch.  she pushed herself slightly to lean up,  using her free hand to cup jane's face,  and leaning in to press a kiss to her cheek.  "i'd love to spend my time with you.  it sounds perfect."

"Yeah?" she smiled in return, playing with Eva's hair affectionately. "Glad to hear that. Of course I am sure— it'll be really nice to have your company," she said, turning to hold her hand and giving it a gentle squeeze. "More than nice, to be honest. Have you ever been there?" she asked; it would be Jane's first time in Japan, but she had fashionista friends who had been there, already. They sent her a list with plenty of places she can't miss the opportunity to visit.

   eva wanted to mutter something about how it was more than anyone expected,  it was better than anything else.  she knew her and jon just needed a little support,  and jane was giving them the stability they needed.  and,  hopefully,  they could give it back to her.  she hummed when she was reminded of the work jane had mentioned,  nodding carefully so she could remain comfortable and not poke the other woman too much.  "oh.  really?"  she thought about the offer,  angling her smile into jane's shoulder for a few moments.  she didn't need too long,  admittedly.  "i'd like that.  if you're sure."

   "*you're* kidding."  eva bit her lip to try and control her silly smile,  taking both of jane's hands to tug her closer.  for....  no reason in particular,  she just wanted them to be closer in general!  besides,  jane was doing all this flattery even though she was the gorgeous one!  "well,  i'm only following your lead.  you make it look so easy."

"You kidding? It's more than okay... it's *perfect*. You look *perfect*—" she approached her, almost needing to push herself away from the table to be able to take her very first step. "—As always, don't you?" she sent her a small smile, holding out a hand for her to take. "You don't *need* any pointers, dear. Best model ever," it was her turn to gather the courage to wink back to her, even if on the inside... her heart was going crazy and she was pretty sure her face was as red as a tomato! Oh, well...

  the reaction made her feel like her face was on  *fire*,  but she had to admit that the compliments made her...  overjoyed!  and very appreciated.  more than any compliments from anyone else ever did.  "yeah?  it's okay?"  the musician looked down at the outfit to double check it and laughed with humility.  "no pointers?"

   she put her arms around him when he tried hiding his face,  shamelessly laughing at him and his predicament.  because there was an easy solution!  but perhaps she should just stick to being the friend to encourage him to do what he truly wanted.  "this is why you should  *tell him*.  imagine how cute you can be if you two could actually go out together!  imagine!"

He smiled brightly to her, shaking his head fondly to his friend. How did she read him so easily like that? Like he was a freaking open book?! He didn't know... but honestly? It felt really good to have friends like her and Alex in his life. "You got me," he threw his hands up in mock surrender and laughed, before hiding his face against her shoulder again when she raised her eyebrows like that. "He's gonna be the end of meee!!! And he literally has no clue!!!"

   it was a sad feeling to not even be yourself in your own home,  but if anything eva was glad to be in the company of someone who understands that struggle.  because they overcame those expectations and could be happy in spite of them. 
            "oooooh,  of course.  just so he can stand all close to you and heal your made-up wounds."  she raised her eyebrows like it was scandalous!

Oh, she hadn't seen anything yet, trust me! There's a lot more silliness from where this came from!
            "Yeah? Then it's deal," she chuckled, trying to hide her blush behind her glass— for the second time that day! "Bet. I'll be there, then."

  the smile on her face was making her face hurt,  in awe of the designer and how silly she was.  this was the sort of feeling she could spend forever chasing.  "snacks sound good.  yeah.  but as long as you're there,  i'll be happy."

"I know! But unless I break a leg while wearing some ridiculous heels I attempted to design, I'll always do my best to be there," she laughed at her own ridiculousness— for starters, she doesn't design shoes, so we're good!
            "I like that... excellent idea. I'll meet you after the show, then. Should I bring something? Snacks, perhaps!"

   she nodded as if to approve of his comment,  because his flattery was very encouraging and she had to accept it before he started bantering with her again!  he was right to be scared!  she shook her head at them,  listening along to the explanations and taking the invitation to leave the studio.  "i just worry that he might run out of breath to explain it that quickly.  then who's gonna eat the pizza?  i might not be able to save him any."

"BADASS!" was Alex's comment when she said she had a dragon tattoo. Jon was smiling, too, definitely thinking the same as his friend— but being more discreet about it, a perfect example of the contrast of their personalities. 
            
            "Classes are like... the *kind* of characters you can create within the game. The druid, that Alex mentioned, is a guardian of nature. They can cast certain spells and shapeshift into animals, for instance," he explained with a quiet voice, almost shyly, for talking about one of his hobbies outside of music...
            
            "The barbarian punches things! MWAHAAHA!" the drummer added, kicking invisible enemies in the air, even though he said *punches*.
            
            Jon chuckled at that. "There are many other types, with different roles within the game."
            
            "I can tell you all about the classes in ten minutes!"
            
            "...That's quite an impossible mission..."
            
            "Try me!"
            
            "Well, if there's someone who can do it... it's definitely him," Jon admitted it with a smile, opening the door to invite them and lead them out of the studio.

   "oooh,  i like dragons.  i have a dragon tattoo."  eva had all sorts of tattoos,  so it probably wasn't very interesting to them,  but she always chose them carefully!  every single one of them was gotten through much deliberation!  "what do classes mean?!  c'mon,  now i'm interested.  or is this one of the secrets of the game?  i have no idea."

   "thank you."  she waved her hand like she was trying to brush off the flattery—  it was too much!  and it was a lot,  to hear someone be so kind to you,  and do things so personal and sweet.  she wanted to be able to do something back,  but she wasn't talented enough to  *make*  something.  "um.  maybe i could let you have one of my jackets or something.  then we'd be,  like,  matching.  that'd be a vibe."  was she fumbling her way through it?  yeah,  it probably didn't seem very charming or anything,  but it was honest!  and it was a little gesture,  smaller than making something but she wanted to do  *something*.

She chuckled, fondly, at the happiness in which the other held up the pair of gloves; her smile never fading away, in fact, only growing impossibly wider upon hearing her words. "Will you, really?" she blushed softly once again at the last bit Eva added— playing... for her! —but made sure to look cool and confident again as soon as she managed, so the musician wouldn't notice the *fool* who was standing in front of her! ...Although she didn't mind if Eva noticed, it was probably entertaining the way she tried so poorly to deny the 'DNA of a fool' she had... that *all* Clarkes had when they had a crush. "I'll be there, as close of the stage as possible! Cheering you on, you're great. You're really, really great!"

   honestly,  the fact that jane remembered and knew what boots eva was referring to made her feel a little flattered—  she remembered!  such a small detail,  a pair of  *boots*.  and yet jane knew,  she was the one that brought them up,  and eva flushed slightly.  "i really appreciate this."  she held the gloves up to her with a proud little look,  smitten and silly and  *happy*.  "you're so sweet!  i'll wear them tonight!  then i can play for you."

   eva still felt so stupid for not figuring it out sooner,  and the whole thing had been very sitcom-like when she confessed her feelings and,  for some reason,  tom just echoed them back to her.  she was lucky that it was so harmless and they could enjoy the rest of their holiday,  and she came out of it feeling much more...  secure.  and now she felt free,  almost.  like she knew herself a little better.  "we'll keep it between us."  eva promised with a laugh,  feeeling like she was gushing and grinning at absolutely anything jane said.  god,  she hoped it wasn't so obvious.

She totally understood what she meant. After all, she had went out with guys before figuring out about her own sexuality, and she never truly had *fun* with them. Straight men could be really... disrespectful, boring, and-- ugh! If you'd let her, she could keep on complaining forever. Her best date with a guy was with a queer guy. And even still, when he introduced her to his best friend, a woman that identified herself as bi... that's when she learned more about her own identity.
            "I'll do my best-- even if I have to cheat again," she added the last part jokingly, just for her to hear... after all, there was really no way of cheating at this game! ...Or there was it?!

   eva was also thankful for the glasses of wine jane had,  because she wasn't entirely sure she would've had the courage to do anything herself,  to be honest.  she didn't want jane to think she'd freak out about anything,  and if something made her uncomfortable she'd just say it in a totally normal way!  this...  thing they had going on was  *exciting*  her.  she found it so difficult to think about anything else sometimes!  isn't this crazy?  this felt so different to her time with tom,  no offense to him.  they were friends,  they had fun,  but she didn't need to see him all that often.  but every time she parted with jane,  she was thinking about the next time they'd meet.  "impress me,  again!"  she encouraged,  laughing and clapping her hands to hype her up.

"Absolutely," she answered, flashing a smile to her. She, too, caught herself thinking just how amazing the other was. Badass and sweet, kind, with a wonderful sense of humour, so damn talented and... of course, *gorgeous*. Jane was glad she could fight her little panic moment and came to talk with her... she would hate it if she missed the opportunity. "Looking forward to see you again," she finished it with a wink; not really wanting to go, despite how she had to... gosh!

   "that sounds like such a good idea.  i love that."  this woman seemed to creative and clever,  and eva was in awe of it!  she couldn't believe she'd lucked out on meeting someone so outgoing,  so kind,  so pretty!  there were a million other words eva couldn't find,  but she was sure she'd have plenty of time to think it over.  "it definitely does sound like it.  i'll have to look through my luggage and see what sorta stuff i brought to wear.  i'm really looking forward to it.  thank you."

It starts at four and it ends at 6 pm! I wanted it to be during the sunset time— to stay within the theme... anyways! I think it ends at the right time to explore the local bars. Don't you think?" she grinned, resisting the urge of winking at her again... because Jane would probably die if she did it!
