Weird and different. Yeah, that sounded accurate enough. An understatement, if anything. Bruce chuckled at that, interlocking his fingers as he looked out at the city again. It wasn't an easy place to live in, he knew that, maybe better than anyone else. But like these two, that didn't make it a bad city, per se. Maybe he was bias in that. It /was/ his home, after all. His family's home. The Waynes were a major part of the building blocks that made this city what it is today. He couldn't expect them to see the beauty beyond the horrors so easily.

Batman's rogues would certainly be a good place to start with those quirks, but even before them, there was always a struggle with crime and corruption. Inevitable in big cities, but it seemed almost the worst here in this one. ،، She's not for everyone. I can only imagine how overwhelming it can be for someone who's not used to a city life, moving here. A very drastic change, isn't it? ”
