A lot can change in the span of 3 years. And for me, it has. I'm still a book loving, bird loving, writer fascinated by fantasy.
But life's a story, and the writing progresses.
Today I'm a dark fantasy, and dark sci-fi author who enjoys rich world building and deeply written characters. And just to give my dark plains of suffering I type up a little bit of light, I weave romance in there somehow. Because I've come to realize that sometime in everyone's life, a little bit of romance is experienced at least. I try my best to draw from real life experiences to spin into my imaginary worlds. Because some things just need to be brought up. Even if they're draped in an elegant ball gown, or trapped beneath the hide of a centaur.
