guys, I just seen the whole James Charles thing on tiktok and holy shit, he is sooooo out of touch. it was so uncalled for. 

As a society we need to change the phrases we use and words we speak. Our vocabulary has been inherited by the people of the past, the same people who would discriminate against women, people of colour, minorities etc. Thus a vocabulary of hate has been passed down. For example, in the past black was consistently associated with evil, which is why words like ‘blackmail’ ‘black list’ and ‘black sheep’ were created. While today we use words like that without the intention of harm, our minds begin to subconsciously dissect the words and act with them. Our minds rewire to match our phrases and we see that through the consistent racism and poor standards. Sometimes we use phrases that insult women without even realising it, yet we are still putting limits on ourselves and accepting a reality crafted by people who continue to haunt our world.
