I once sold a 1978 Chevy Beauville passenger van for a painting and a bottle of scotch.  When I was living in China and homesick, I would listen to a recording of Amiri Baraka reading his poem "I Love Music" and walk along the Great Wall.  You can listen to Baraka's recording of the poem on the PennSound archive website, for free.  Try it out!  It's a great poem:
