I am a high school English teacher with a Master's in Writing.  When I'm not grading papers or creating lessons, I find myself in a good book or thinking of a new story.  I prefer writing in the young adult genre, but I do stray to other genres.  Basically, if I think it will be a good story or if I think I can send a good message, I will create it to share with others.  My ultimate goal as a writer is to connect readers to my words in order to help them through a struggling time.
