Hey guys! I wanted to tell you guys something...
So recently I was reading a romance novel (“The Cell Phone Swap”). One of the characters Nicky said something and I was confused. She told the main character Keeley that she “broke up with the girl from the cookie store.” Which I thought oh okay because throughout the book it talks about how she has had sooo many crushes on guys. Me being me, I commented on it saying I didn’t know she was gay. Someone else commented back and said that she wasn’t and I said “okay good.” By me saying that, I meant alright that’s what I thought. I DID NOT MEAN “thank God she’s not gay.” First of all, I have friends that are gay and to be honest, it doesn’t make a difference to me if they were or were not gay.
Someone yelled at me for saying okay good and called me a homophobe. They said I should learn that it’s 2018 so I should “get (my) homophobic face out of (my) booty hole”. Also, they said that “being a dick won’t make mine any bigger”.
I have no clue why someone would escalate “okay good” to being a homophobe. If any of you think I was “being a dick” I’m sorry, but I am not a homophobe.
