I'm writing a Regina book for a while now. I've been scared to post it. However, I will be posting it somewhere this month or next. My main OC plays ice hockey also, I got the idea from the movie Status Update (I totally recommend it, btw).
I was so excited to see that you had a Regina Story with ice hockey also. Your book is amazing, btw. I absolutely loved it. Going to university, I know how bad plagiarism is, and I just wanted to reassure you that my story is completely different. I've seen people on here steal other people's work, and that's not ok. I also wanted to say that I absolutely loved that you voiced the labels debate in your book. I commented on it today. I also truly hate labels. I wanted to ask if you'd be OK with me incorporating that into my story as well. It would be completely different from how you did it. Without giving to much away, in my book Regina and OC are in a established relationship and I don't want to incorporate the whole homophobia thing so the reason why Regina and OC don't get any homophobia thrown at them is because one Regina HBIC scared everyone and because she said that they don't do labels, she'd be with OC regardless of gender. If you are not OK with me doing that, I'd absolutely understand and leave it completely out of my book. So let me know
That all being said, I hope you continue writing more, and I hope you'd be willing to read my book when I finally post it.
