Well hello everyone. 
          	
          	Anyone fancy a brand new newsies short story?
          	
          	I was at the show in London last night and all of a sudden this idea came to me. 
          	
          	For context the Brooklyn newsies in the London production are all girls, but that’s not revealed until ‘Brooklyns here’. 
          	
          	The story is based on Spot, who as a child went though a serious incident and that’s how she became a newsie. And Katherine, who lost her twin sister to the Hudson River while the Pulitzer family were travelling to NYC. 
          	
          	You can see where this is going right! 
          	
          	Do people want it? Or do I leave this in my drafts for my own enjoyment.

          Long time… no see.
          I really want to write something. But I need inspiration! 
          
          Probably Newsies/Newsies cast based. (Or another show) But I just need something.

Helloooo. I’m actually having a great start. Finished an essay, seen 2 shows in London. Got a haircut. Seeing another show tomorrow. Only major negative has been BroadwayCon being postponed and therefore my February New York trip being cancelled.

I just wrote this bandstand one shot. I know not many of you in my page are Bandstand fans but if you haven’t, I highly recommend checking it out. The proshot is available on YouTube!! (so DM me for the link) 
          
          It’s a very different style of writing that I’ve not tried before and it’s probably not perfect but I’m really happy with it. It’s all from inside Julia’s head as to what she’s thinking about. It’s also written in the present rather than the past. So that’s different too for me!

Welp... just looked through my stories.
          
          Turns out literally every single one of them, no one reads. Or at least no one votes.
          
          I enjoy writing them at least. But it’s hard that no one reads them.
