/ now that i’ve played a good bit of it i have to say i really appreciate the tomb raider remastered release. i’ve been meaning to get into the older games for a while but the games themselves were a headache to get on unless you had a physical copy/working pc tbh and i wasn’t anticipating an actual remaster at least for a longgg while but wow they really did it

/ the game itself is just all around stunning. gorgeous graphics, incredible story, everything’s upscaled for realism but its charm and aesthetic quality is still kept it’s such a gem! nearly done with tomb raider 1 but im stalling finishing it bc of how good it is. once you get past the 90s platforming lmaoo its really good definitely recommend

[@onebatchtwo] ALLEY, NEW YORK — NIGHT: STREET LAMPS FLICKER IN AND OUT OF TUNE, LEFTOVER RAINWATER RUSHES LIKE A STREAM TO THE DRAINS. SHE EMERGES FROM A WAREHOUSE FRESH OFF AN INSIDE DEAL, ROUNDING A CORNER BEFORE SHE’S STOPPED AND QUESTIONED. ❝..I’D SAY ABOUT SIX, SEVEN, MAYBE MORE. WHY?❞ SHE RESPONDS WITH A CASUALNESS THAT MAKES HER ENGLISH TONE ALL THE MORE DISTINCT. THEN, A PAUSE. she steps back, then forward again, taking a look at the stranger, trying to figure out his game. there is more urgency, less ease to her words now. ❝…look, i don’t know what you’re planning but whatever it is—i wouldn’t. not now, anyway.❞ A a quick glance to the warehouse. ❝those men are trigger happy. they aren’t looking to make friends. but then i guess neither are you.❞

/ the cutthroat world of (british) aristocracy and how she’s largely removed herself from it, the elitism, the wealth, how her reputation always seeming to precede her (and how she uses that to her advantage), her f*ther, the feuds, secrets and scandals. it’s so preppy in here !!!!!
