Chapter 2:
I walked up to the register and he smiled at me.
"Little late, isn't?" He asked me.
"I guess..." I said. He smiled again and I looked down at my feet.
"¢.99."
"Hmm-"
"¢.99."
So I gave him a 5 dollar bill because that's all I had. He broke it up and gave me the change, which I put in the tip jar.
"Have a nice night." He said.
"Thank you, you too."
I rode to my neighbor hood park and sat on the bench. I pulled out my phone and played Green Day. After listening to the whole album of Dookey, I started playing Blink-182. When 'First date' I heard a voice behind me singing along. I jerked my head around to see the employee of Wallgreens.
