If anyone ever reads any of my stuff and finds commas in weird places, I apologise, because I can't for the life of me figure out how bloody commas work. Does a comma go before "because" or not because I've been told two different things in my life. And it's stressing me out, same with "but"
'but' is a joining word, so most of the time you don't use commas before it. The exception is when your sentence is too long and putting the word 'but' doesn't help.
@holliehindle commas go where a full stop would go BUT if the second sentence doesn't make sense on its on then you use a comma. For example: She liked all of him, his green eyes and brown hair included. It works better than: His green eyes and brown hair included. (Doesn't make sense by itself) BUT sentences with commas don't always need to be something that can't be understood without commas. Also commas are referred to as "a little ball that tells you to take a break in a sentence". Kind of like when a sentence is too long so the comma just goes in the middle somewhere.
Has Wattpad glitched for anyone else? One of my fic apparently had 94 chapters, but it only had 47...Also I've been editing that fic and changed some of the chapter titles, but every time I reopen the app they have gone back to the old titles? Anyone else having problems?

So I wrote a weird 600 word short love story about Sherlock and Dracula going to Kyoto, Japan specifically to buy a pack of Nintendo playing cards, based on a Tumblr post I read. It's the weirdest thing I've written, but I was struggling with writer's block and that Tumblr post sparked my creativity. If you are interesting in reading that monstrosity, it is called 1897... I am so happy! I've been waiting since October for Lucy Spraggan's new album, Today Was A Good Day, to come out,because the title song is my favourite song but I only heard it at the concert in October. So I've been waiting to hear it again and at midnight last night it came out and I just sat for about an hour listening to the same song on repeat just crying my eyes out, because I was so happy. That woman is incredible. I recommend her music as it's helped me a lot
