About the Melanie situation:
          
          I'm sure a lot of people who were fans of Melanie, including me, know that Melanie is a good singer. She always will be and I will still probably listen to her music. However, that does not justify her actions, for example, as other people have pointed out:
          if Melanie is a man, her actions would have been taken instantly into matter at court, and of course she should be jailed for taking advantage of her best friend even though "she didn't say no" but since she's female, it means a whole different matter? People have been saying about how feminists would go crazy if it was a man. Not at all! Feminists want equality for woman! To be treated the same as man including punishments. Woman don't want to be inferior with men under them, equality means they want to be EQUAL. 
          
          So in conclusion;
          What Mel did was still rape, she even owned up on twitter, but the fact that Timothy didn't say anything, doesn't justify the fact that she raped. Silence, isn't consent
          And it's not 'Lesbian sex' unlike what a certain person on Instagram had said. It's rape. And even though I was a fan of Melanie, I do believe that it's unjust to her ex best friend.
