          wanda laughed, shaking her head slightly as she heard the other female rush into the kitchen. “i am baking cookies, yes,” she nodded, a smile growing on her lips, “i can bring you some once they cool if you’d like.” she looked from tasha to the tray of cookies before she warned, “those just came out. if you eat those you’ll burn yourself.”

          // eeee thank you!

          the witch smiled softly at kate. she truly appreciated the kind words. they were ones she didn’t hear too often. and truthfully, she needed to hear them, so she was grateful for the young archer. it was different having someone look up to her, but it was also nice, something she wasn’t used to.

          as she listened to kate speak of clint, wanda couldn’t help but smile. a slight laugh escaped her lips when the other female said clint was stubborn. wanda knew that all too well, and she also knew that would never change. as the girl rambled on, the smile stayed on wanda’s face. it was easy to see that kate truly cared for clint, just like he did for her. “you definitely answered my question, kate,” the witch said, chuckling softly when the other finally took a breath and paused. “well, i, for one am very glad he has someone like you by his side.”

          a slight smile grew on her lips as she watched the young archer get so excited just to see the witch’s magic. it wasn’t something wanda was used to. most people were afraid of it, not in awe of it. a soft chuckle escaped her lips when kate spoke, soon falling quiet when the words would no longer form, she was truly like clint and the witch found it amusing. as kate began to reach out to touch the energy, wanda pulled her hands slightly back, not wanting the female to get hurt. once the female gave up that was when wanda had let the energy dissipate, knowing it was no longer needed. “i’m not incredible by any means, kate,” the witch chuckled softly, “but thank you. you’re very kind.”

          the witch kept her eyes on the young archer for a moment, her head tilting slightly as she watched kate’s mannerisms. “so, i have a question for you now,” wanda said with a soft smile, “is clint still difficult to work with? or has he gotten better?”

          “well, it might be easier if i just…” the witch paused for a moment, a soft smile growing on her lips as she made one of the hand motions kate had tried to replicate earlier in their conversation, causing the space in between her hands to be filled by the red glowing energy she was so known for, “…show you.” she paused for a moment before nodding, “it is a part of me, always has been. it’s just grown stronger over the years as i have.” a slight chuckle escaped the witch’s lips, “i would say it is better than your options.” she soon moved her hands, letting the energy dissipate before she rested her hands by her side.

          “there are no such thing as stupid questions, dear,” wanda said, tilting her head slightly as she listened to the younger female speak. a slight laugh escaped her lips as she watched kate attempt to replicate her hand motions. “normally it doesn’t hurt, at least not physically by any means. it’s quite an experience, to say the least. you never truly get used to it,” the witch pondered for a moment before continuing, “it doesn’t really feel like anything, if i’m being honest. it’s just… there.”

          //it’s absolutely wonderful!
