In the end of time of the golden glow,
An exhausted expression written on my face,
After a while of hardship earn by an embrace of a soothing worth.

As the flowing grace from the northern skies of evening,
Enters the wooden door of my home,
Prepare a warm refreshment to remember
A new morning of better flow of the rain.

“Old Glasses, New Perspectives”

Looking through the glasses of five years ago,
It was clear then, but it has become blurred now.

          Reckless vision sparks fire,
A self-immolation scorched the grounds of my soul,
Here, I was foolish, but I learned to walk through
the ash of a dying depths.

          Looking back through these lenses,
I see myself getting better from then.
          Like a seasonal face change of  angles and depths;
          new glasses,
Clearer than the waves of those western days.
          As we hone anew,
We come forth from the eastern skies of you and me.
