why does there have to be a harry potter remake smh.. i honestly think the og movies are okay. i also wish they could just do something interesting and fresh instead of just remaking movies that many people already love, even if it’s a series based on Harry Potter, they could make up plot lines or explore things the og movies or even books didn’t explore. they’re 100% gonna get lots of hate and people are always going to compare the new actors to the og actors and its not going to be fun. i feel bad for the children actors who are gonna have to be compared to the og golden trio

@_JiYoo yeah ikr, the movies had plot holes and definitely made mistakes but they still are so nostalgic and have a special place in my heart. i hope this remake is good but i just know it won’t feel as good as the old ones

i never read hp fics nowadays because im just scared of ending up devastated. like whenever i read them i get this specific warm feeling thinking about the gryffindor common room and the twins and the fireplace and the feasts but then i remember it’s all fictional and it’s just so soul crushing. whenever i read fics it’s like im being transported into the world but once eventually the chapters end and the book is finished i just get sucked back out into real life and all the magic is just gone

missing my obsessive hp phase so bad. i miss when I first downloaded wattpad and cried over ‘Her’. i feel myself slowly getting back into the phase tho since i haven’t properly read a fanfic in months haha so i kinda miss the feeling of blushing and screaming over harry looking at me at 2am
