So I missed May the Fourth, but here; have the return of the sixth!

I don't generally talk about my life on this site, but I really need to get this out. 
          
          Here's the thing. I am not from the country that I currently reside in. Thus, I am bound to get some form of animosity towards myself by people who are generally uneducated. 
          
          What's the big deal, right? Everybody has to face some form of bias in their life. Just move on, right?
          
          Well, I suppose that's true, but it's really not all that easy when people tell you (people you don't really know, have no connection with whatsoever) that you shouldn't be here, and to 'go back where you came from, you filthy ****ing Asian bas****.' Followed by a string of curses about an average of once a month. And then, of course, the stereotypes.
          
          Oh yeah, it bears mentioning that some of these people are fully grown adults, well into their twenties or thirties, by the looks of it. 
          
          Is this really the world we live in? When, in this day and age, it's acceptable to curse out someone who you've never even seen, on the basis that 'you're Asian, so you deserve to die?' To try to take their property using  'you're too busy studying and stealing jobs to use that properly' as your excuse? 
          
          Is this a normal occurrence that I'm just overreacting about?
