Thanks again for your kind words! Like I said, it's kind of hard to AU your own story, LOL. But I really did like Erik and Jenna together more than I expected to when I began the story, so I figured I'd give it a go.

And yes, I loved the Devil's Child sequence in the movie. My favorite part of the film, to be honest. Ever since, I was intrigued by the thought of Madame Giry and her connection to Erik. Then I saw a beautiful picture on DeviantArt (which was actually an illustration for another Erik/OC fanfic) which, to me, looked like a young Erik and Antoinette lying under the stars together, and I realized I just had to write something about E/A. So we shall see how that turns out. I hope to start work on it before the summer is out--but it's going to take a LONG time to write, I think.

I always appreciate the online companionship of a fellow Phan--and writer. :) Now, off to read more poems. :)

Oh my goodness, I am so excited to read those! I think the original ending was fantastically written (like the rest of your work ). I especially loved the letters that Jenna and Erik wrote to each other! Oh, they were so beautiful! Your voice within your writing is so powerful and poetic that it extracts emotion so easily! But I also can't wait to see how you pull everything together so that Jenna can be with her dark angel! And wow! The relationship between Erik and Madame Giry will be fascinating to discover! When I first saw the devil's child sequence in the 2004 movie, and I saw just that look of compassion and pity that Madame Giry gave Erik, I was begging to see more of their relationship! I think you're the perfect writer to bring this idea to fruition! I support you 100%, and deeply admire how you're able to juggle a day job and a family while still delivering chapter after chapter of Phantomy goodness! I am so honored and grateful for your online companionship! ❤️

HI!
Well, I was just so touched by your poem about the Phantom. And I really did love it. I plan to read all of your poems, so don't be surprised! ;)

As for ideas--I am currently wrapping up (hopefully) an alternate ending to The Secret Door. The ending you read is the official one, and the one I wanted to write. But a lot of readers, including my best friend, really wanted to see Erik and Jenna together. So I am writing a shortish (probably under 20 chapters) AU ending for that. (It's very HARD to AU your own writing, LOL). Then I have an idea for a brand new story, exploring the relationship between Erik and Madame Giry--which will span from their meeting in childhood, all the way past the incidents with Christine. I imagine it's going to be LONG, and take me forever to write, but I'm excited about it. It's called (for now, in my head) Prelude. :) All that, in addition to my day job (I'm a music teacher). :)
ANYWAY, my kids are calling me. Gotta go for now! :)
