At the onset of the 50's in a europe still reeling from the colapse of fascism and the establishment of the bipolar system that will lead to the cold war, men loved each other as desperately and as profoundly as they do today. The world constantly trying to erase them or to use them so completely that no trace of them would remain. Yet in this cradle of death their light shone so much brighter.
