Finally published a chapter for “Reclamation”! :) 

I wanted to have a new chapter out today but when I wrote it yesterday, I was just not happy with it at all. I kept deleting and rewriting it like 5 times until I eventually just gave up. :( 
          I have a ton to do today to get me prepared for the upcoming week BUT I’m hoping to be able to sit down in the evening and get the chapter where I want it so I can finally give you guys something.
          I never want to put out a chapter that is less than satisfactory (although mainly I just overthink it) and I appreciate all the patience you’ve given me. <3

Hi everyone!! 
          I haven’t updated a chapter in a few days and I planned to write today but I am so exhaustedddd. 
          (Also I’m catching up on other shows/projects that I’ve been neglecting the last couple of months.)
          I’m going to give myself a few days to rest and unplug before I dive back in and finish out the series!! We’re ALMOST FINISHED. 
          As always, I appreciate your patience, support, votes, and especially the comments <3 
          I’ll get back into my usual groove later this week. :)

          Are we serious?!
          This is so actually so insane and I can’t even begin to put into words how grateful I am for every person who takes the time to read, to vote, or to comment silly things that make me giggle. I LOVE EVERY ONE OF YOU ENDLESSLY. 
          I set a goal for myself at the end of November that I wanted to reach 50k by the end of the year. And we’ve surpassed that?!! 
          This series was initially published late June of this year… and within just 6 months, this story has managed to reach 70,000 of you. 
          Wow. Just… wow. 
          I never imagined that this story would get this far. Never thought that so many people would fall in love with this series and with Elaina as I have. 
          And as I’m writing the last installment of this series, I’m actually getting pretty sad to see it go. 
          But I’m forever thankful for all of you that take the time to follow along and show support where you can.
          Let’s see what 2026 has in store for this story and for Elaina.

Shit girl! You’re 25?? I found my people! I’m 26. I don’t feel so alone on this app anymore! 

Okay guys, bear with me here!!
          After some consideration, I've realized the structure of "Reclamation" so far is disrupting the flow of the direction I'm taking it. 
          So I'm simply taking the first few chapters and plucking them at the end of "Fallout" so "Reclamation begins with that six year time jump. This way, it'll flow a little bit better and the middle of the story doesn't start with a confusing time jump. Just wanted to give everyone a heads up on this in case there is any confusion!! 
          I appreciate the understanding and the patience!! :)

          To be honest, when I started this fic back in March, it was solely for my own eyes and for my own enjoyment. I never expected to gain the courage to post it and NEVER did I expect for it to take off the way it had. I posted it in June of this year and since then, I’ve finished 4 parts and written over 300,000 words! 
          
          That’s INSANE. 
          
          I’m fairly new to the fanfic world — I’ve only read a few marvel fics and one of the 100. I’ve heard so many horror stories surrounding certain fandoms and things that have made me reluctant to post my work. But I’m so glad I did!!
          
          The outpour of love and support I’ve received has been AMAZING. 
          
          And not just for me — but for Elaina and her story. 
          I knew when I began writing her that I wanted to create a character that was complex and deeply human. Someone that fit into the story but didn’t diminish any of the other canon characters. I wanted Elaina to share similar characteristics, but to shine as her own person. And I believe she does!!
          
          For those that have read and continue to read — I LOVE YOU. 
          
          Every vote, every hilarious or unhinged comment and every heartfelt message has been a huge motivator in pushing me forward to complete this series and give everyone the ending they truly deserve!!
          
          I hope you all continue to follow along and enjoy reading it just as I’ve enjoyed writing for you!!
