Recently I've been going back and doing some editing of old chapters, trying to make things accurate to how things are going now. It's all small changes, so nothing really worth mentioning...except, I realized I never actually described Pitch's clothes. For your convenience, those clothes are a long black tailcoat, with a button-down white shirt and beige pants. No shoes or socks, and all of the above is torn and bloodied like the rest of him.
For my own records, I'll mention here that the chapters I edited were Chapters 6, 7, 8, 9, and the epilogue in Book 1, and the prologue and Chapter 5 in Book 2.

I just wanted to give a quick update to mention that I made some additions to Chapters 18 and 19 in Book 1, The Undying Pawns: Timor Unleashed. I added a few paragraphs to imply something within the story that I failed to mention before. For your convenience, I have included these paragraphs below:
In Chapter 18:
Ben stared at the beast, horror still in his gaze. At the same time, his mind raced, filled with an unfamiliar emotion. He couldn’t place it, couldn’t even give the feeling a proper name. The best thing he could compare it to was an unwilling familiarity. Somewhere, somehow, he had seen this monster before.
And in Chapter 19:
Images of the beast that had attacked that day flashed in his mind. Even without it present, just the thought of it made him feel an immense sense of grief. The visage of the Wraith stared hungrily at his mind, surrounded by flames and familiar screams.

As mentioned in my last update, I've made some changes to book 2 so far. For your convenience, I'll list the plot-significant changes below:
In Chapter 8, instead of a chunk of flesh, the soldiers find a skull (same message engraved in it)
Joshua's name has been changed to Everett, and Evelyn, who is mentioned in Chapter 7, has been replaced with Edna, who was mentioned in Chapter 3. This is partially for continuity fun, and partially because of some awkwardness with people I know in real life who happen to share a name.
The Trap-class Timor has been renamed to the Lurker-class Timor. I've never liked the old name, and I decided to do something about that. (Funnily enough, I never mentioned their name in book 1. That's something I'll have to fix in a future edit)
The Wraith-class Timor's "last words" in Chapter 9 have been changed due to a continuity error on my part.
Chapter 10 will be going live this Thursday. Hope you're looking forward to it!
I hate to once again say this, but it's looking like I'm gonna have to delay Chapter 10 by a week. Frustratingly, I had some really good ideas for the chapter, but I only had them now, the day before it goes live. These ideas involve changing some things in prior chapters as well; when I make those changes, I'll make an additional update listing what they are. Sorry again for the delay, and I hope you're looking forward to the chapter next Thursday!

I apologize, but it's looking like I'm gonna have to delay Chapter 9. Somehow I seem to have forgotten how to write fight scenes, or something, and my pace for doing so has me significantly behind schedule. I am setting myself a "due date" of next Thursday, 5/7. If it is done prior to that, I will post it then, and figure out how to resume the bi-weekly schedule from there. Sorry for the inconvenience!
