After seeing other authors say this, I feel that y’all can’t get mad when I say that I’m finishing my books and moving onto other Beyoncé ships. I love writing beynika, but it’s starting to genuinely feel wrong given her political shift. We always see Bey messing up and having to apologize, which creates those cute little tensions like when she had to make up to Nicki with the car, or when she let that woman flirt with her and didn’t shut it down, and Nicki took it badly so Bey made it up with a trip. I’d love to see the opposite! I want a scenario where Bey is the one who sulks at Nicki, and Nicki has to make it up to her.
