would y’all hate me if their first kiss doesn’t happen until chapter 25?  i know, i know — it’s a slow burn, but i kind of love dragging it out. i want it to mean something when it finally happens. not just tension, but all the quiet moments, the little looks, the build-up that makes it hit harder when it finally does.
          
          i promise it’ll be worth the wait.
