I didn't blame her for walking away. Getting cheated on was a pain that left this lingering, acidic ache, like you swallowed something you shouldn't have and it burned on the way down. Jack tried to win her back, but she didn't want to hear it. Honestly, I think he never stopped loving her. That was the real reason he went quiet whenever her name came up—like the air got sucked out of him.”

I honestly don’t know I posted TikTok’s but my book did a lot better when I stopped posting. I only hit 20k reads a month ago and even that was crazy to me. I just always reply to comments and try to be kind :)

hey hey!! just a quick update — I usually post 1–3 chapters a day, but I have exams next Wednesday, so I’m not totally sure how often I’ll be able to update until then. I will try my best to keep posting when I can though. thanks for being patient with me <3
