          There are times in your life, you feel estranged from the universe,
          Standing amidst false ecstasies, everything seems almost rehearsed,
          I now fathom what was meant by "The world is a prison for the believer", 
          It is nothing but a beguiling deceiver, 
          "The essence of true happiness lies in the connection with your Lord" they say, 
          But maintaining that connection is the question often forsaked, 
          Suddenly in the depths of such confusion, some tribulations come heading your way, 
          Is this a test or a punishment? These thoughts pierce through your brain, 
          Is this trial bringing me closer to you or just pushing me away? 
          My Lord I need you, I feel so alone and afraid, 
          One tiny slip is all that it will take, 
          I now realise what You meant by "Take one step towards me, I'll take ten towards you", 
          Taking the initial step is by far the hardest thing to do, 
          I ask you for strength and for courage Ya Rabb, 
          To fight my own demons, to defeat the rejected one, 
          Verily you are with the patient and so just as one of your beloved had said, 
          'I will be patient till even patience tires of my patience' these words are embed.

She walks along the glistening river, the storm in her brain soothing down as the rhythmic sound of the water calms her. The rocks beneath her bare feet crackle against each other. As the cool breeze hugs her face, she closes her eyes, lingering onto the cold yet warm embrace. It was the embrace of nature. Within seconds her once so heavy body felt light. Light of all responsibilities.
          She was that first snowflake; brought smiles to the face of mankind by letting herself fall. She smiles as she realises how foolish she once was. People who you believed loved you, will be brought to contentment once they see you fall. Just like that snowflake, so pure and naive, will be forgotten about once it reaches the ground. Pick yourself up sweet child. Take advantage of that fall, use your water to quench the thirst of the flowers burried beneath the snow. Don't extinguish your inner light by warming yourself using the light of others. Light your own candle, for the light of your purity can kindle the darkest of the December nights.

As i stand in this deceptive illusory globe
          I ruminate, whilst watching the earth strobe
          I lead my whole life believing this orb was my abode
          With its beguiling charms, it left me mentally blown
          Yet it was just a test and i could not crack the code
          Why i was sent here, the answer finally glowed
          But it was too late, reality hit me like a sharp blow
          Hence being the reason for me writing this ode
          My brothers and sisters i thought there was many routes for this road
          Hence i proudly strode across the globe, always being 'a la mode'
          Never once showing gratitude for what He had bestowed
          Not until my body began to erode
          Did i realise as the reality began to unfold
          Hence i cry out to this ummah to wake up before the punishments begin to implode
          How long can you live ignoring the message of your Lord?!
          The one who just said 'Kun' and the world was formed
          You still fear Him not despite His forebodes
          You think i am bluffing trying to ruin your gusto
          When all i want is to divert you from the path i rode
          Some would hear me out, others ignore as if it's their veto
          Fine by me, just heed before you go
          No mater what they show, say or hold
          Just remember five simple words
          There really is no yolo
