Do you ever think that Molly Weasley ever looks at Fred and George and has to physically stop herself from calling them Gideon and Fabian? I think about this a lot

One things that's worse than growing up in an abusive household as a kid is leaving the abusive environment, but your little sibling grows a superiority complex out of it because they never had to defend themselves because everyone else did it for them.

My little sister has this outlandish idea that she is more mature and better than me because my body is stuck in a constant state of figh-or-flight and I get emotional when I am reminded of my past. Sure, I act a little childish, but that doesn't make me immature. I actually childish because I never got ehe chance to.

She always resorts to violence when she gets upset. This makes me react in a way that would be seen as weak in her eyes. I don't like fighting back. I know how to, and I will if I need to, but I don't want to. I have been fighting for over half of my life, and I'm tired of it. Just because I refuse to fight, doesn't mean I can't.

I'm not immature just because I act differently than her. I'm far more mature than she will ever be, considering the fact that she is barely even 13 years old. I'm almost 17, and I feel horrible everytime I get into arguments with her, but she needs to understand that she cannot just endlessly disrespect people and expect to get what she wants.

I worry for her and I always will. She may be my little sister, but she will always be my little girl. I had to basically raise her, and everytime we get into arguments or fights, it breaks a little more of my heart and sends my mind spiraling. I can't just not defend myself, though.

I just wish we grew up in a normal home, maybe then our lives wouldn't be so fucked up.
