I suggest William T. Fuller.
Depends on his age, location, character, etc. 'William Travis' sounds better, but it's cliche and could be incorrect for you. 'Zachary Taylor' is a cliche 30-year-old American. Your main problem, for me, is 'Travis' and 'Taylor'. These middle names are my issue.
Not very teacher-like. Both are cliches and not so great. If he is 30 and somewhere in CA, then go with Zachary, but if he's a serious teacher, aged 50, then go with William. Again, I suggest William T. Fuller or Zachary T. Fuller.
