OK, so, today was my day...4 I wanna say-no 5. Day five of America school.
And...
I spoke in class for the first time...To ask a question about a tutor, since i'm struggling in the class.
Side note i'm in high school, about 2 years left.
But uhm...
It was (I guess) a very funny encounter. I mean, maybe to you guys when you hear it but it was very frustrating in the moment.
I raise my hand, because that's normal, right? Teacher calls on me, I ask if tutoring is an option in this class, and if he might know any I could talk to and he goes...
"...I'm sorry, can you speak English for me? My Spanish isn't very good."
ಠ_ʖಠ
First Off, I AM SPEAKING ENGLISH, Second, IT'S AN ACCENT.
This problem pursuits to the point that after class he brings me to the principals office for a translater.
This woman can speak spanish, French, sign language, and some German...But no Italian.
My teacher goes "Ok, so, I have this student who can't speak English, and I could use some help Mrs*blank name*"
I give her a face and shake my head, like 'Liar'
She asks me a question in Spanish, I shake my head at her and say
"I can speak English" in my very heavy accent, and THANK GOODNESS she can hear through it, my guess from experience or something, but my teacher then feels very embarrassed about being so rude, I tell him it's fine because i'n an introvert and hate it when people feel embarrassed from something they did in front of me, like "It's okay, it's my fault, don't you dare worry about it"
So...What a fun week, I'm gonna go and try to update some stuff, lol, look out for a chapter of Solangelo Baby.
