ways to help the climate crisis going on rn:
- delete unnecessary emails. it can help with saving power!
- take out/switch off plugs that you aren't using atm
- don't waste water. for example, if you spend a lot of time in the shower for no reason, decrease that time.
- recycle! don't litter and pick up trash.
- eat plant-based/healthy food
- change the stores that you typically shop at if they harm the environment in any way
- grow lots and lots of plants!
- use reusable bags
- spread the word!! it's okay to just copy and paste this onto your message board. just say something please
i understand that recycling isn't possible in some areas and it's difficult to buy food and clothes that are both harmless to the environment and affordable. that's why i've provided you with many strategies. if there are any other ways to stop this crisis that others can think of, feel free to respond with them!
don't listen to the climate doomists or wtv they're called that are saying that there's no fixing this and that we can't do anything now. yes, government officials and politicians have a lot of power, but we can do a lot too! they can't tell us to not unplug our phones. it's not too late. this is all fixable!
- it also helps to take colder showers too!!
- bike and walk instead of taking the car when possible. also try to avoid planes bc they use lots of fossil fuel
